Your day may also involve keeping up-to-date with frequent changes in coding guidelines and payer policies, conducting coding audits, and assisting in claim denials management. These skills ensure precise code assignment, compliance with regulations, and efficient collaboration with surgeons and billing teams, all of which are vital for accurate reimbursement and quality patient data.
