  • Patient Assessment & Care:ย Conducts comprehensive assessments, provides holistic nursing care, and notifies physicians of significant changes.
  • Care Planning & Coordination:ย Develops, directs, and evaluates individualized care plans, including patient/family education and discharge planning, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Treatment Implementation:ย Prepares patients for procedures, implements physician orders, and ensures patient safety protocols, including medication administration.
  • Ongoing Evaluation & Adjustment:ย Regularly reassesses patient responses to interventions, adapts care to changing needs, and communicates with physicians for modifications.
  • Effective Communication & Handoffs:ย Utilizes Bedside Shift Report, provides thorough patient updates, and delegates tasks for seamless care transitions.
  • Safety & Quality Assurance:ย Maintains a safe patient and work environment, promptly addresses hazards, and actively contributes to quality and patient satisfaction initiatives.
