Job description

Renders professional nursing care to patients assigned in a Med-Surg unit, in support of medical care as directed by medical staff and pursuant to objectives and policies of the hospital. Work encompasses direct and indirect care patient care and collaboration with other disciplines involved in the provision of care.

Minimum Education: Associate's Degree or Diploma in Nursing
Minimum Experience: RN license with at least 1 year of experience on med-surg
Required Certification: BLS, PALS, ACLS **
Required Licensure: Valid Texas RN license
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

** Note - Required certifications are to be completed by 2 months of employment.
