The compensation range for the role is $ 66.14 - $ 82.68 USD per hour.

The range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits. When determining a team member's compensation and/or rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., location, specialty, service line, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, negotiated contracts, budget and internal equity)

Qualifications

The Rehabilitation Counselor/Psychologist is a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team responsible for developing the neuropsychological and psychological programs on the Unit providing input and maintaining close contact with all disciplines of the rehabilitation team. Services included are psychological and neuropsychological assessments, psychotherapy, family education and therapy, support groups, behavioral management, in-service education, and crisis intervention. The Rehab counselor/psychologist is responsible for designing and implementing programs to meet the psychosocial needs of the in-patient population and works in cooperation with all rehabilitation therapy disciplines, nursing staff, physicians, and consultants.

Minimum Education:

Doctoral Degree in Psychology with specialized training in Clinical Psychology or Neuropsychology.

Minimum Experience:

Experience with stroke and physical rehabilitation is preferred

Required Certification/Registration:

New York Licensed or license eligibility within two years

Physical Demands:

Work is primarily sedentary with intermittent standing and walking.
