We are looking to add a Neurophysiology Technologist at Baptist Hospital, located in Downtown Jacksonville, FL. This is a PRN opportunity.
As the Neurophysiology Technologist, you will perform Electroencephalogram (EEG) studies. At Baptist , we specialize in advanced neurodiagnostic care, offering innovative technology and services such as long-term epilepsy monitoring, intraoperative neuromonitoring, and epilepsy surgical support.
Neurophysiology Technologist Job Responsibilities:

  • Performing EEG studies.
  • Working closely with Neurology to perform scheduled and unscheduled tests.
  • Monitoring in-patient Video EEG for an uninterrupted, clean recording.
  • Providing service education to staff and ancillary departments for the enhancement of patient care.
  • Effectively understanding the goals and implications of the monitoring study, including impact on the patient's lifestyle.
Experience Requirements:
  • One-Two Years EEG Experience Required
Education & Credential Requirements:
  • High School Diploma Required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
  • Registered Neurophysiology Technologist (ABRET) Preferred
