Neuromonitoring Manager Jobs (NOW HIRING)

Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented EEG Technician to support intraoperative neuromonitoring (IONM) services in the operating room. This position is responsible for the setup, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of neuromonitoring equipment, including systems, stimulators, and associated accessories. The technician will work closely with surgeons, neurologists, anesthesiologists, and IONM personnel to ensure proper equipment functionality and patient safety throughout surgical procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare, test, and calibrate neuromonitoring and monitoring equipment prior to surgical procedures.
• Set up monitoring systems, stimulators, electrodes, and related accessories in accordance with established protocols.
• Assist with patient preparation, including electrode placement and cable management.
• Verify proper functionality of all monitoring equipment before and during surgical procedures.
• Troubleshoot technical issues involving neuromonitoring systems, software, hardware, and accessories.
• Maintain accurate documentation of equipment setup, usage, and maintenance activities.
• Monitor equipment performance during surgical cases and promptly report concerns to the supervising technologist or neurologist.
• Clean, disinfect, and maintain equipment in compliance with infection control standards.
• Manage inventory of electrodes, supplies, cables, and other consumables.
• Coordinate equipment transportation between facilities as needed.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and patient confidentiality standards.
• Participate in training and continuing education activities related to neuromonitoring technologies.

Qualifications

Required

• High school diploma or GED
• Associate's degree in a healthcare, science, or technical field.
• R. EEG. T
• Basic understanding of medical terminology and operating room procedures.
• Strong technical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced surgical environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift and transport monitoring equipment up to 50 pounds.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Preferred

• Experience in neuromonitoring, EEG, EKG, EMG, EP surgical technology, biomedical equipment, or healthcare settings.
• Knowledge of Cadwell or other neuromonitoring platforms.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification.
• Experience working in operating rooms or procedural settings.

Physical/ Vaccine Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods during surgical procedures.
• Ability to lift, carry, and transport monitoring equipment.
• Manual dexterity sufficient for electrode placement and equipment setup.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and on-call assignments.

• Employees are expected to travel to assigned facilities within company's normal service area
