Job description

The Neurodiagnostic Assistant is a support position in the neurodiagnostic department, designed to be flexible to meet the specific needs of the department. The Neurodiagnostic Assistant assists the technologist by facilitating the workflow of the department. The Neurodiagnostic assistant trains under direct technical supervision. Once training is complete and all required institution competencies have been achieved, the Neurodiagnostic Assistant works under indirect technical supervision.

Required Knowledge & Skills

Education: High School Diploma or GED

Experience: No prior work experience required

Licenses and Certifications

*HEALTHCARE PROVIDER (CPR)

Qualifications

*Must be currently enrolled in a an accredited Neurodiagnostic program or become enrolled within 180 days of hire.

*Prior experience with EEG preferred but not required
