• Conduct thorough evaluations of new patients, including assessments of their health history and functional capacity, to develop an individualized treatment plan.
• Effectively communicate evaluation findings and treatment strategies to patients and their families, ensuring their active involvement in goal-setting to enhance motivation and adherence.
• Implement prescribed treatment protocols based on patient assessments and progress, adapting approaches as necessary to align with each patient's unique needs and the dynamic healthcare landscape.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure well-rounded patient care, noting any significant changes in a patient's condition that necessitate revisions in the treatment plan.
• Manage discharge planning in a comprehensive manner, providing clear documentation that outlines the patient's journey, including evaluations, treatment goals, and outcomes.
• Exhibit proficient time management skills to meet productivity targets while maintaining accurate scheduling and attendance at meetings.
• Contribute to departmental goals, engage in outreach initiatives, and actively participate in community-based marketing efforts to promote our services.

In your role as a Physical Therapist, you will serve a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, neurological conditions, and chronic illnesses. Tailoring treatment plans to meet each patient's specific needs will be essential in maximizing their recovery potential and improving overall quality of life.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A High School Diploma or GED from an accredited program in Physical Therapy.
• Current licensure as required for practicing as a Physical Therapist in Virginia.
• American Heart Association's Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers.

While prior work experience in a similar role is preferred, it is not mandatory. However, candidates should possess a strong willingness to learn and grow within the dynamic field of physical therapy, with a focus on improving patient outcomes through evidence-based practices.
