The Heartfelt Life Insights Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Full-Time Physical Therapist to join our dynamic rehabilitation team in Virginia Beach, Virginia. As a Full-Time Physical Therapist, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough evaluations of patients' physical condition, creating individualized treatment plans based on physician recommendations and patient needs.
• Setting realistic and achievable goals in collaboration with patients and their families to enhance engagement in the treatment process.
• Implementing therapeutic interventions such as manual therapy, exercise prescription, and functional training tailored to each patient's age and specific conditions.
• Monitoring and documenting patients' progress, utilizing clinical assessments and patient feedback to adapt treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery.
• Collaborating closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to treatment, participating in case conferences and sharing expertise to facilitate integrated care.
• Providing education and guidance to patients and their families on injury prevention, home exercises, and lifestyle modifications that promote long-term wellness.
• SupervisingPhysical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) and supporting personnel in implementing care plans effectively, ensuring that patient safety and quality standards are always maintained.

Your practice will encompass a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, neurological conditions, sports injuries, and chronic pain syndromes. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy or an equivalent qualification.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the State of Virginia.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively engage with patients and team members.
• Proficiency in utilizing electronic medical records systems and basic word processing software to document care and maintain patient records accurately.

While a minimum of two years' experience in a clinical physical therapy setting is required, your hands-on expertise in rehabilitation will contribute significantly to your success in this role. Experience with specific therapeutic techniques or patient populations is a plus, enhancing the quality of care provided to our diverse clientele.
