Network Resiliency Engineer

Position Summary:  

As part of the Information Technology (IT) Pillar the Network Resiliency Engineer will be responsible for designing, delivering, and maintaining diverse connectivity solutions. This role will require an emphasis on network redundancy and performance. This position will be part of a fast-paced team, priding themselves on excellent service for our clients, strong operational mindset, and creative solutioning. Success in this role requires strong hands-on networking expertise, experience with multiple ISP technologies, and the ability to troubleshoot complex connectivity issues while supporting domestic and international locations. The Network Resiliency Engineer will be required to travel domestic and internationally up to 15% of the year, often times with limited notice. 

Day-to-day responsibilities would include a combination of the following: 

  • Design, deploy, and support office, residential, and specialty connectivity solutions (fiber, cable, LTE/5G, satellite). 
  • Own internet redundancy, failover strategies, and performance monitoring. 
  • Troubleshoot complex connectivity issues across ISP, network, and on-site infrastructure layers. 
  • Ensure secure and consistent network standards across all properties. 
  • Additional duties as assigned 
  • Act as the IT/Connectivity lead for construction projects, from design review through cutover. 
  • Partner with construction managers, architects, and electricians on: 
  • Low-voltage design (IDF/MDF, conduits, pathways) 
  • Demarc placement and ISP handoffs 
  • Rack, UPS, and environmental requirements 
  • Review drawings, submittals, and site conditions to prevent downstream issues. 
  • Coordinate go-live readiness and final turnover to operations. 
  • Travel internationally and domestically to various residences/offices around the world.

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related technical field 
  • CCNA, Network + or equal certifications Preferred 
  • Domestic and international travel is required approximately 15% of the time
  • At least 5 years of experience in network connectivity, IT infrastructure, or operations technology
  • At least 2 year of strong hands-on experience with:
  • ISP circuits (fiber, coax, LTE/5G, satellite)
  • Network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls, Wi-Fi)
  • Redundancy and failover design 

Compensation: 

Compensation for the role includes a competitive salary in the range from $105,000 -$175,000 (inclusive of a merit-based bonus, dependent on years of experience, level of education obtained, as well as applicable skillset) and an excellent benefits package, including paid time off ranging from 15 to 25 days based on years of service, paid sick and safe leave, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid parental time off, birth mother recovery pay, sick family member pay, parental ramp back up program, gym reimbursement and generous employer match for 401k.
