About the role

Sectra is looking for a Cloud Networking Engineer to help design, implement, and support the secure cloud networking solutions that connect our customers to Sectra's Azure platform. This role is ideal for an experienced cloud networking professional who enjoys solving complex connectivity challenges, collaborating with customer IT teams, and building scalable, secure infrastructure.


This is a hands‑on engineering role focused on cloud networking, automation, and delivering reliable connectivity for healthcare organizations.


What you'll do

  • Design and deploy Azure networking solutions that securely connect customer environments to Sectra's cloud platform

  • Partner with customer IT teams to establish and optimize hybrid cloud connectivity

  • Configure and maintain Azure networking resources using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation tools

  • Troubleshoot network connectivity and performance issues across cloud and customer environments

  • Monitor, maintain, and continuously improve the reliability, security, and scalability of cloud networking solutions

  • Collaborate with internal engineering teams to develop networking standards and best practices

  • Additional duties as assigned

  • Travel as required (up to 15%)


Skills & Requirements
What we're looking for

  • 5+ years of experience in cloud networking or network infrastructure engineering

  • Strong experience with Microsoft Azure networking technologies

  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including routing, VPNs, IPsec, NAT, DNS, and subnetting

  • Experience deploying infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Bicep, ARM, Terraform, or similar)

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work directly with customer IT teams


Strongly preferred

  • Experience with Azure ExpressRoute and hybrid cloud networking

  • Experience with Azure CLI, Git, and network automation

  • Experience using network performance and diagnostic tools

  • Experience supporting healthcare or other highly regulated environments
