WHAT YOU’LL DO: 

The Solution Architect is the primary technical contact for the customer, providing solution and product recommendations to the client. Develops BOMs and SOWs for projects. Presents technical aspects of solutions to clients. Expertise in Switching / Routing / Wireless / Firewalls. The position is responsible for assessing customer needs and tailoring customized multi-year holistic solutions that are complex in nature to fit business needs while working and coordinating with specialized solution architects in the Collaboration, Cyber Security, Data Center, and Physical Security.  In this role, you will: 

    • Serve as a primary technical contact for customers in network solutions. 
    • Assess customer business and technical requirements and translate them into practical solution recommendations. 
    • Design solutions across switching, routing, wireless, firewalls, and network management and observability. 
    • Develop accurate bills of materials, statements of work, solution diagrams, assumptions, and technical proposal content. 
    • Present technical recommendations, product demonstrations, and solution workshops to customer stakeholders. 
    • Collaborate with Account Managers, specialized architects, manufacturers, distributors, Engineering, and Services teams. 
    • Validate compatibility, scope, risks, dependencies, and implementation considerations before customer commitment. 
    • Maintain current manufacturer training, certifications, product knowledge, and awareness of technology trends. 
    • Support opportunity qualification, competitive positioning, and technical responses to RFPs and RFQs. 

    What You’ll Bring 

          • Deliver technically accurate, complete, and timely designs, estimates, proposals, and supporting documentation. 
          • Meet customer requirements, schedules, quality standards, and profitability objectives. 
          • Maintain current technical knowledge, manufacturer training, and relevant certifications. 
          • Identify scope, compatibility, pricing, schedule, and delivery risks before commitment. 
          • Build productive relationships with customers, sales teams, partners, and delivery resources. 
          • Maintain organized records and communicate status and issues clearly. 

          EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: 

            •  High School Diploma or GED. 
            • One (1) or more years of Network Solution experience.  
            • Experience developing customer-facing technical solutions, bills of materials, statements of work, presentations, and demonstrations.  
            • Manufacturer certifications required, with a commitment to ongoing manufacturer training and product knowledge development.
