Description:

Richardson Sports is a premium brand focused on headwear, team uniforms, and performance apparel.

This is an entry-level position responsible for providing end-user technical support while assisting in the maintenance and administration of Richardson Sports' network, server, and cloud infrastructure. This position serves as a primary point of contact for employee technical support while assisting with systems and network administration. Success in this role requires strong problem solving, troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.

This position is fully on-site at our headquarters in Springfield, Oregon.


Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide end-user workstation hardware and software technical support, particularly troubleshooting connectivity and workstation-network issues

Manage user access, permissions, and onboarding/offboarding tasks in a Microsoft 365 environment

Support maintenance of Windows Server and Active Directory environments

Support regular patching and updates of Windows Server and desktop operating systems

Assist with VoIP phone system configuration and maintenance, including phone numbers, extensions, call routing, and voicemail

Participate in scheduled after-hours or weekend maintenance as needed

Document issues, resolutions, and system changes

Other duties and projects as assigned by the Technical Services Manager


Requirements:

Required Knowledge & Experience

  • Foundational knowledge of Windows desktop operating systems
  • Basic understanding of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
  • Familiarity with Active Directory concepts
  • Basic experience supporting Microsoft 365 applications and user accounts (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive)
  • Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond in a timely manner


Preferred Knowledge & Experience

  • Exposure to enterprise applications (e.g., ERP systems like SAP, databases such as SQL Server)
  • Experience with cloud services such as AWS
  • Experience with virtualization technologies such as Proxmox and VMWare
  • Basic understanding of IT systems administration concepts

Education & Certifications

  • Associate's degree or equivalent combination of experience and relevant certifications
