CLA is seeking a Lead Network Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and support of our enterprise networking environment. This role will provide technical leadership across routing, switching, wireless, cloud networking, SD-WAN, and network security technologies while driving infrastructure modernization, automation, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate possesses deep technical expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate across teams to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable network solutions that support CLA's continued growth and transformation.

About the role:

As a Lead Network Engineer, you will:

  • Lead the design, implementation, optimization, and support of CLA's enterprise network infrastructure across office, datacenter, and cloud environments
  • Provide technical leadership for routing, switching, wireless, SD-WAN, and network security initiatives.
  • Administer and support Cisco networking technologies including Catalyst, Nexus, Meraki, and related platforms.
  • Design and manage enterprise WAN, LAN, WLAN, VPN, and internet connectivity solutions.
  • Support and optimize Microsoft Azure networking services, including ExpressRoute, Virtual Networks (VNets), Virtual WAN, DNS, and hybrid cloud connectivity.
  • Configure and troubleshoot routing and switching protocols including BGP, OSPF, VLANs, STP, HSRP, and QoS.
  • Partner with cybersecurity teams to implement and maintain secure network architectures, firewalls, segmentation, and Zero Trust initiatives.
  • Lead network modernization, cloud transformation, office integration, and infrastructure lifecycle management projects.
  • Develop and maintain network automation solutions using PowerShell, Python, Ansible, Terraform, or similar technologies.
  • Utilize network monitoring and performance management tools such as SolarWinds, ThousandEyes, LogicMonitor, or similar platforms.
  • Serve as a technical escalation point for complex network incidents, performance issues, and critical outages.
  • Mentor network engineers and contribute to architectural standards, operational procedures, and network roadmaps.
  • Ensure high availability, resiliency, disaster recovery, and business continuity requirements are met across the enterprise network.
  • Participate in the on-call rotation.

What you will need:

  • 6 years of relevant experience required
  • 8+ years of enterprise network engineering experience, including design, implementation, and support of large-scale multi-site environments preferred
  • Bachelor's degree is required. A combination of relevant experience, education, and training may be accepted in lieu of a degree
  • Degrees in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
