Pay Range: $111,303.92 to $166,956.14
Actual pay will be based on various factors, such as a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, proficiency for the role, and internal equity. In addition to base pay, Kwik Trip gives 40% of pre-tax profits back to our coworkers with bonuses ranging from 8-12% of each coworker's gross annual wage depending on company profitability and offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, 401k, paid time off, and more.
Kwik Trip's Network Services Department is seeking a Network Engineering Manager who will provide leadership for the Network Infrastructure team members and is responsible for the strategy, support, and maintenance of our retail network.
Network Engineering Manager is responsible for:
  • Leading the strategy, procurement, disaster recovery planning, and maintenance of all Kwik Trip retail networks.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operation of the Kwik Trip Network Infrastructure team members.
  • Plan, design, and implement data connectivity for the local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and wireless LAN for our retail locations.
  • Coordinate and implement special projects including network-related wiring plans.
  • Maintain documentation including hardware/software configuration information.
  • Provide after-hours escalated support in an On-Call rotation.
  • Effectively manage, coach, and develop coworkers on the Network Infrastructure Team.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, provide feedback, and identify training needs for team members.
  • Establish and enforce networking policies and best practices to ensure security and efficiency.
  • Manage the budget for networking projects, including hardware, software, and training costs.
  • Develop and implement networking strategies that support the organization's growth and technology roadmap.
  • Coordinate with vendors for network equipment and services, negotiating contracts and ensuring quality of service.

Qualifications:
  • Associate degree in Information Systems/Network Administration or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong understanding of Network Security practices and procedures.
  • Ability to meet project and department deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • 5+ years of supervisory and leadership experience.

Even better if you have:
  • Knowledge of Data Center and Core network technologies.
  • Knowledge of access control systems and Firewalls.
  • Experience working with manufacturing and automation networks.
  • Experience with Packet Capture, NetFlow, and other system monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
  • Experience with public cloud platform networking.
  • Any networking certifications.
  • Experience working with circuit providers.
  • Strong technical documentation skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong understanding of LAN, WAN, and WLAN practices and procedures for identification, troubleshooting, and resolution of network issues
  • Advanced experience with routing protocols

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, daytime hours with rotating on call responsibilities. Weekend and non-business hours work may be required as needed.
