Job Description:
Join a growing enterprise technology team as a Network Engineer, where you'll play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing the organization's network and cloud infrastructure. This position offers a blend of operational support, infrastructure engineering, and project-based work, making it ideal for a hands-on professional who enjoys solving complex technical challenges. You'll work closely with systems administrators, infrastructure engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure reliable, secure, and scalable network operations across multiple business functions. The ideal candidate enjoys solving complex infrastructure challenges, takes initiative, and is comfortable making technical decisions independently. You'll help design, build, and support Azure Virtual Desktop environments while maintaining highly available enterprise systems that support multiple lines of business.

Responsibilities:
  • Create, deploy, administer, and support Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments, including virtual machines, host pools, session hosts, and user access.
  • Manage Microsoft Azure infrastructure, including virtual machines, networking, storage, and enterprise cloud resources.
  • Administer Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Intune, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and identity management.
  • Support enterprise infrastructure including switches, firewalls, VPNs, print services, and hybrid cloud environments.
  • Monitor system health, troubleshoot production issues, and proactively improve infrastructure reliability and performance.
  • Partner with business stakeholders on office expansions, infrastructure projects, and technology improvements.
  • Develop technical documentation, standards, and operational best practices.
  • Mentor teammates and collaborate with infrastructure engineers across the organization.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Experience creating and deploying Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) virtual machines and supporting enterprise AVD environments.
  • Strong Microsoft Azure administration experience.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, Microsoft 365, and Windows Server.
  • Experience supporting enterprise infrastructure, virtualization, networking, and identity management.
  • PowerShell scripting and automation experience preferred.
  • Self-starter who enjoys taking ownership and solving problems independently.
  • Experience with Meraki and Cisco networking technologies is a plus.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts and security best practices preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical issues in simple business terms.
