The Network Architect role focuses on designing and implementing computer and information networks, performing network modeling, and collaborating with other team members to develop network architecture and security designs.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Analyze and manage physical and logical resources of existing network capacity and incorporate high-level and/or detailed forecasts into meaningful network build plans.
โ€ข Manage, plan, and optimize network devices within designated planning areas
โ€ข Develop and implement planning solutions that will positively impact customer service
โ€ข Develop initiatives, quantify impact, and provide input on network architectural plans & budgets
โ€ข Formulate budget inputs and projections according to the business plan
โ€ข Work cross-functionally with the systems, project management, and network infrastructure
โ€ข Act as a networking expert and resource for peers and management.

โ€ข Familiarity with Network Performance Management systems including network & application traffic capture probes and operational tools such as Wireshark and SolarWinds
