Job description

Hansen Talent Group is seeking a strong Network Engineer to support a large enterprise as they work through a large scale data migration, developing and implementing NextGen Networking Solutions. 
The Network Engineer will be responsible for assisting in developing and designing network and server build designs and supportive documentation as well as providing hands-on support in building and deploying changes across the environment.
Duties:
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and external clients to understand network and compliance requirements, translating business needs into functional build documents and network diagrams.
  • Support the build and deployment of new infrastructure, server integrations, automation, and SDN solutions. 
  • Identify the impact of new technologies and workflows on existing infrastructure and business processes across the enterprise. Address any potential risks by creating proactive solutions. 
  • Coordinate work efforts across the network operations, network security, development, and server teams. Ensure understanding of requirements as well as working to ensure connectivity across the environment. 
  • Analyze design documentation to ensure network is compliant and all documentation is audit ready. 
  • Troubleshoot and assist in outage response. 
Qualifications:
  • Experience working in enterprise network environments, supporting CISCO networks and server integrations into the network 
  • Hands-on experience with Software Defined Networks
