We are seeking a Network Engineer 2 to join our Managed Services team. In this role, you will operate independently across a broad range of systems and network technologies, resolve complex escalations, lead mid-size projects, and serve as an escalation and mentoring resource for junior technicians.
What You'll Be Doing
Escalations and Advanced Troubleshooting
  • Own and resolve complex or escalated service tickets
  • Guide junior techs through troubleshooting and project tasks
  • Proactively identify systemic problems and implement durable, long-term fixes

Microsoft 365, Identity, and Cloud
  • Use Message Trace, Quarantine, and eDiscovery tools to solve Microsoft 365 mail issues
  • Create and enforce mail flow rules and support mailbox and SharePoint migrations
  • Migrate systems and workstations to Azure AD (Entra)
  • Design and apply Conditional Access policies
  • Manage and interpret sign-in logs and Azure permissions

Infrastructure, Networking, and Virtualization
  • Deploy and manage Hyper-V and Azure virtual machines
  • Design and implement VLANs, VPNs, firewall rules, and related network configurations

Backup, Recovery, and Incident Response
  • Conduct file and server-level restores, verify backup integrity, and recommend improvements
  • Respond to mid-level incident response situations (e-mail compromise, virus cleanup, localized ransomware infection)

Projects and Automation
  • Write project scopes and plans for 10 to 25 user environments
  • Use RMM to run scripts and deploy configurations across multiple endpoints
  • Identify automation opportunities and deploy solutions using ConnectWise Automate and Backstage

What You Bring
  • 2 to 4 years in IT infrastructure support
  • 2+ years in network configuration, Active Directory, and Office 365
  • 1+ year with Azure AD (Entra), Conditional Access, and cloud identity management
  • Experience with tools including Sophos, ConnectWise, Veeam, and Unifi
  • Security+ (or equivalent)
  • Microsoft certifications aligned to the role (AZ-104, MS-102) are strongly preferred
