Job description

All Lines Technology is seeking a PC Technician to support PC refresh and deployment projects for locations throughout the greater Pittsburgh area. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their IT career who is looking for hands-on experience, skill development, and strong long-term growth potential within the IT field.
Responsibilities & Technical Experience

  • Perform PC refresh and deployment projects, including pre-surveys and on-site installations
  • Maintain accurate asset inventory tracking
  • Back up user data and restore profiles to new computers
  • Deploy and configure Windows 11 systems in large rollout environments
  • Perform hardware and software upgrades, including Microsoft Office
  • Set up, test, and troubleshoot printers and peripherals
  • Configure networked PCs, including:
    • Mapping network drives
    • Setting up TCP/IP
    • Configuring static IP addresses
  • Support end-of-lease laptop refresh projects
  • Utilize USMT or other imaging/ghosting tools as needed
  • Provide basic networking support, including working knowledge of DHCP

Qualifications

  • Bachelorโ€™s or Associateโ€™s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field
    or relevant CompTIA certifications (A+, Network+, etc.)
  • Hands-on experience imaging, repairing,ย or deploying computers, laptops, printers, and peripherals
  • IT internship experience or 3+ months in a Help Desk or IT Technician role
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and in team-based deployment environments

Additional Requirements

  • Valid Driverโ€™s License required
  • Ability to travel to client sites around the Pittsburgh area
  • Professional communication and customer-facing skills
