Network/Systems Adminstrator (In office only)
As a Network/Systems Adminstrator at ITG, you will provide hands on network engineering expertise that involves server and front end device installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and management of network devices such as routers, switches, and firewall. You will work in a technical support/lead capacity. The Network Support Specialist will be responsible to provide onsite and remote support for several corporate infrastructures. You will respond to tickets through our ticketing system in accordance with our SLA’s and document your work and resolutions to assist in maintaining our Knowledge Base and provide accurate client billing.
We take pride in our client relationships, and we depend on our team to provide courteous, efficient, and accurate resolutions. As a consulting firm, we work with many different network infrastructures, and must be proficient at a large variety of software, hardware, and security products.
Ideal candidates are:
  • Security-conscious, self-starters with strong initiative and able to work independently without direct supervision or as a highly functioning member of a project team.
  • Able to accurately diagnosis and provide detailed status reports & timely escalations.
  • Able to build positive working relationships with external client management personnel and peers.
  • Competent learning in a fast-paced environment.

Required Qualifications:
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to quickly assess technical support questions and determine best course of action.
  • Previous customer service-oriented role with a focus on technical support.
  • A clean NYS Drivers license and reliable transportation.

Technical Skills Preferred:
  • College degree or 4 years experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience working with Microsoft operating systems.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Azure platform.
  • Familiarity with Cloud computing and open source solutions.
  • Production experience with Windows Server 2019/2022/2025.
  • Upgrades, migrations, backup, restore, critical updates, monitoring, security and reporting.
  • DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, Group Policy.
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure basics.
  • LAN, WAN, VPN, RDP, printing, anti-virus, software installation.
  • Fundamental understanding of virtualization concepts.
  • Software experience with VMWare, Veeam, Hyper-V.
  • Familiarity with storage concepts and technologies - RAID, SAN, NAS.
