Job description

-Looking for Tier 2 with room to grow or Tier 3 that is ready to go out of the gate.

-Wants blend of Network and Systems, but systems is preferred vs. pure network experience.

-Will also be doing standard desktop support as a given.

-In office tickets as well as reimbursed local client travel for onsite clients.

  • Communicate effectively utilizing various mediums, including phone, email, and a service ticketing system.
  • Effectively document time and client IT environments, applications, and resolution steps in our document management system
  • Collaborate with other team members to resolve IT issues and escalate matters when needed
  • Pay attention to detail and complete tasks per defined process
  • Design, scope, plan, and execute complex technology projects in a professional and timely manner
  • Ensure all Service Level Agreement Targets are met
  • On a rotation basis, provide after-hours Customer Support.
  • Travel to client sites to provide IT service if needed/ assigned
  • Learn our company s way of delivering world-class service to ensure alignment with our team, including our technologies, processes, and metrics for success

QUALIFICATIONS

  • The successful candidate must have at least 5 years of hands-on experience managing business-class network infrastructure.
  • One or more technical certifications

Technical Experience:

  • Remote Experience managing/troubleshooting Microsoft server OS
  • Proficient with Entra and Active Directory administration and Group Policy management
  • Proficient with PowerShell scripting
  • Proficient LAN/ WAN Network Connectivity Troubleshooting Experience
  • Proficient in managing and configuring Hyper V
  • Proficient in configuring/troubleshooting Fortinet Firewalls
  • Proficient in configuring/troubleshooting network switching, including VLANs
  • Experience with Backup/Disaster Recovery with Datto
  • Experience with Datto RMM and other remote management tools
