Job Summary:
InterSources Inc. is a Small, Woman, and Minority-Owned Business Enterprise with over 18 years of experience in providing IT Consulting Services. They are seeking a Network Technician to respond to help desk tickets, provide on-call support for network outages, and assist with network infrastructure improvements.
Responsibilities:
• Respond to and resolve help desk tickets related to wired and wireless network issues
• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 on-call support for critical site network outages
• Perform network account onboarding and offboarding using custom scripts
• Assist with infrastructure incidents and escalations
• Support network rollouts, upgrades, cleanup, and remediation efforts
• Participate in planning and execution of network infrastructure improvements
• Maintain documentation and inventory of network assets
• Perform Microsoft administrative tasks including:
• Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) management
• Group Policy administration
• User provisioning and access management
• Microsoft 365 administration
• Assist with Windows Server administration:
• Basic server maintenance
• Monitoring and performance tuning
• Patch management and updates
Qualifications:
Required:
• 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
• 5+ years of experience with Microsoft administration
• 5+ years of experience in Windows Server environments
• 10+ years of hands-on troubleshooting experience in networking (wired and wireless)
• 5+ years of experience in customer service
Preferred:
• Experience working in wiring closets
• Experience with Ruckus switches
• Experience with Deskpro Ticketing System
• Experience with Active Directory, DNS, and Group Policy
