Naval Network Operations Oversight Project Manager
The Opportunity:

We are looking for a Project Manager who can leverage their IT networks expertise to work with the fleet to understand their needs and challenges to deliver a world-class IT experience . You will create well-designed project plans to assist the client in developing innovative solutions to complex problems. You know that project managers touch every part of an organization and wear multiple hats, from caring for the client and their meaningful project goals to participating in organizational development and being a key contributor to team success.
What You'll Do:
As a Project Manager, you will:
  • Work directly with clients and external stakeholders to oversee network operations and sustainment activities, ensuring cross-functional team support, coordination, planning, collaboration, and execution tasks are aligned with program and project goals.
  • Empower our clients through effective communication, ensuring the program achieves its goals and meets our quality standards.
  • E nga ge with clients to collect, understand, and define their IT requirements, analyze and translate those requirements into project plans and milestones, and create realistic schedules to manage and report progress.
  • Leverage Agile met hodologies to lead client e nga gement sessions in support of development planning and execution.
  • Write and deliver executive leadership-level communications and briefings.

You Have:
  • 7+ years of experience conducting program or project management in a Department of Defense ( DoD ) Program Management Office, supporting, planning, scheduling, coordinating, or delivering IT projects
  • Experience supporting the Department of the Navy, including fleet operations, command structures, and Echelon II commands
  • Experience delivering medium to large-scale IT projects or programs through project management
  • Experience developing senior-level briefings and written products, including whitepapers, executive summaries, and analysis, and operating within Agile frameworks
  • Experience with stakeholder management and coordination, including implementing actions to support mission objectives and organizational goals
  • Experience e nga ging with senior military or government offi cia ls, including briefing and coordination at the O-6 / GS-15 level or higher
  • Knowledge of IT network operations, and Agile principles and tools such as Kanban boards and project tracking applications, including Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, Jira, and Confluence
  • Ability to translate technical information for non-technical audiences
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience supporting Navy commands
  • Experience with the Information Technology Infrastructure Library ( ITIL ) service lifecycle or IT Service Management ( ITSM )
  • Project Management Professional ( PMP ) Certification

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information ; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $55,200.00 to $126,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
