POSITION PURPOSE:
The Network Project Manager is a member of the Service Delivery team responsible for coordinating and managing customer-facing and internal network infrastructure projects throughout their lifecycle in accordance with established processes. This role supports the successful delivery of network services, fiber infrastructure, transport, colocation, data center, and strategic network expansion projects by coordinating internal engineering, operations, construction, sales, and vendor resources.
The Network Project Manager serves as the primary point of contact for assigned projects, ensuring effective communication, project execution, risk management, and customer satisfaction. This position requires strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, along with a foundational understanding of telecommunications and network technologies. The ideal candidate can effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of customer focus and operational excellence.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
  • Associate degree in Business, Telecommunications, Information Technology, Project Management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 1-3 years of experience in project coordination, project management, sales support, customer operations, or a related role.
  • Foundational knowledge of telecommunications, fiber optic networks, internet services, WAN technologies, or network infrastructure.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation and commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to interpret project schedules, technical documentation, and implementation timelines.
  • Understanding of Ethernet, MPLS, DIA, wavelength services, dark fiber, or related telecommunications technologies.
  • Familiarity with fiber construction processes, outside plant (OSP) projects, network deployments, and service activation workflows.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in the telecommunications, technology, or network services industry.
  • CAPM certification or progress toward a project management certification.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
  • Experience coordinating customer-facing network implementations, circuit deployments, or infrastructure projects.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities while maintaining professionalism and composure.
