Overview
Pacific Retirement Services (PRS) is a national, not-for-profit leader in senior living and healthcare, dedicated to empowering people to lead meaningful lives as they age. We are seeking a Wireless Network Engineer to design, implement, and optimize wireless and wired network infrastructure across our communities. This role plays a critical part in ensuring reliable, secure, and high-performing network systems that support daily operations and resident services.
What You'll Be Doing:
• Design, install, administer, and optimize wired and wireless network infrastructure to ensure availability, performance, security, and scalability across multiple communities.
• Lead wireless network projects including design, implementation, and change management while supporting ongoing operations and performance improvements.
• Provide Tier 2 support for network-related issues and proactively monitor systems to maintain optimal performance and reliability.
• Manage network hardware and equipment including routers, switches, firewalls, and UPS systems while supporting licensing and vendor relationships.
• Collaborate with internal teams, stakeholders, and external partners to ensure network systems meet evolving business needs and cybersecurity standards.
Salary: $105,000K - $132,000K / annually DOE
Ideal candidates will currently reside in Medford, OR
Must be authorized to work in the United States.

• Minimum of five years of experience in wireless network design, implementation, and support across multi-site environments.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of network concepts including RF, VLAN, WAN/LAN, DNS, DHCP, and network security practices.
• Experience troubleshooting and improving system performance in complex environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Ability to travel up to 50% to support community network needs; valid driver's license required.
