The Role

Kyndryl is seeking a Network Support Specialist to join our team and support the delivery of reliable, secure, and high-performing network services.

In this role, you will operate within a complex, multi-vendor environment as a technical expert responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting network infrastructure. You will also leverage your understanding of network architecture to support design considerations, optimise configurations, and ensure scalable and secure network solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software components

  • Monitor network performance and proactively identify and resolve issues and outages

  • Troubleshoot incidents and implement corrective actions, including emergency changes

  • Execute routine and scheduled network changes in line with change management processes

  • Participate in change reviews and contribute to continuous service improvement

  • Support and maintain network architecture design standards and configurations

  • Implement and enforce network security policies and best practices

  • Provide technical support for network-related issues to internal and external stakeholders

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including project managers, architects, and service engineers

  • Document configurations, architecture diagrams, processes, and incident resolutions

Who You Are

Required Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years of proven experience in network support within a complex, multi-vendor environment

  • Hands-on experience with network architecture concepts (e.g., LAN/WAN design, routing and switching, segmentation, redundancy models)

  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills

  • Knowledge of network protocols, infrastructure, and security best practices

  • Experience with change management processes and tools

  • Ability to perform under pressure and manage high-priority incidents

  • Effective communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively

Preferred Skills

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP or equivalent)

  • Experience with network design or architecture support in enterprise environments

  • Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools

  • Exposure to enterprise security frameworks and compliance standards

The compensation range for the position in the U.S. is - $100,080 to $190,080 based on a full-time schedule.

Your actual compensation may vary depending on your geography, job-related skills and experience. For part time roles, the compensation will be adjusted appropriately. The pay or salary range will not be below any applicable state, city or local minimum wage requirement.

There is a different applicable compensation range for the following work locations:

California (San Francisco Bay Area): $120,120 to $228,000

California (All Other): $110,040 to $209,040

Colorado: $100,080 to $190,080

Massachusetts: $100,080 to $209,040

New York City: $120,120 to $228,000

Washington: $110,040 to $209,040

Washington DC: $110,040to $209,040

This position will be eligible for Kyndryl's discretionary annual bonus program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Kyndryl's applicable plans. You may also receive a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical and dental coverage, disability, retirement benefits, paid leave, and paid time off. Note: If this is a sales commission eligible role, you will be eligible to participate in a sales commission plan in lieu of the annual discretionary bonus program.
