CLIENT RELATIONS MANAGER
Department: GENERAL
Employment Type: Full Time
Location: BOSTON, MA
Reporting To: PRINCIPALS
Compensation: $89,000 / year
Description
The Client Relations Manager leads Ci's efforts to foster and grow client relationships across the firm's diverse market sectors and increase brand awareness within the AEC industry. Reporting directly to the senior leadership team, this individual works closely with Firm Principals and leadership across Ci's offices to strengthen existing relationships, identify new opportunities, and position the firm competitively in the marketplace.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Support leadership in fostering and growing existing relationships
  • Must be a strategic thinker with strong Science & Technology (S&T) relationships within the AEC industry.
  • Develop strategies for new business and new opportunities
  • Work with Firm Principals to develop long and short-term business development goals, targets and priorities.
  • Maintain database to track company and contact information, opportunities, etc.
  • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and stay up-to-date on industry trends
  • Identify and suggest industry and/or community events, conferences and speaking engagements: attend and represent Ci as needed. This includes regional and national events across multiple offices.
  • Prepare impactful materials such as pitches and presentations for prospective client meetings and interviews

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE
  • 10+ years of experience in client relations or a related role within the AEC industry
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the AEC industry and market trends
  • Established relationships and a strong professional network within the AEC industry
  • Proven ability to foster, maintain, and grow long-term client relationships
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
  • Strategic thinker with strong organizational and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to identify opportunities and support the firm's continued growth across all market sectors
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with Firm Principals, senior leadership, and teams across multiple offices
  • Strong professional presence with the ability to represent Ci at client meetings, industry events, and conferences
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working both independently and within a highly collaborative environment
