Duration: 6+ Months (Contract to Hire/ Extend)
About the job:
As a Network Project Manager, you will be at the forefront of optimizing our infrastructure by directing the decommissioning of legacy network assets. You will navigate ambiguity and leverage network project management frameworks to drive end-to-end delivery. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders, finding creative ways to problem-solve and drive results regardless of reporting structures. You are a highly organized leader who can manage risks, communicate effectively, and ensure that multiple projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget, all while keeping a strong focus on the customer experience.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead small, medium, and large-scale complex projects using established Network Project Management frameworks.
  • Develop and execute end-to-end project plans to guide and direct the removal and decommissioning of legacy network assets.
  • Manage the program intake process, prioritize business needs, and hold internal technical teams, vendors, and contractors accountable for deliverable commitments.
  • Perform core project management activities, including planning, scoping, defining units of work, resourcing, and scheduling.
  • Prepare and deliver executive presentations defining current/future state business needs, project status, and benefit realization.
  • Drive project delivery and issue resolution through strong partnerships with business leaders and key stakeholders.
  • Lead discussions on project status, risk management, change management, and problem resolution, identifying action items for follow-up or leadership escalation.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects within scope, on time, and on budget while continuously focusing on process optimization.

Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant work experience.
  • 6 years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience managing large, multi-functional, or enterprise-wide projects.
  • Experience in cross-functional collaboration and executive communication, with the ability to formulate messaging for all organizational levels.

Preferred qualifications:
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or other relevant PMI certification.
  • Experience with wireless core applications and enterprise cloud platforms.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies applied to project management.
