The Network Engineer is responsible for the enterprise network infrastructure of PAX US. This integral role will have influence on how to architect the LAN, WAN and Cloud networks, telecom systems on-premises and multiple public clouds. We are looking for a seasoned, highly successful individual who has enterprise networking experience on-premises and in the cloud.

Key skills, knowledge, education, and experience required:

Experience:

6 years and above in similar role

Skills:

LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, Firewalls, Web Application Firewalls, Routers, Flow, IP Telephony, AWS/Azure Networking , Presentation skills, Time management, Organization skills

Education (minimum):

Bachelor's in Computer Sciences or IT or Telecom or equivalent
and
Advanced networking certification from Cisco or Juniper or ONF-OSCA
and

AWS Architect Associate.

Requirements for position:
Must have:

Bachelor's degree or 12 or more years of relevant work experience.

Six or more years of relevant work experience with a bachelor's degree.

Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification.

AWS Architect Associate or equivalent certification

Network Security experience: Firewalls, Web Application Firewalls, NACLS, ACLS, IPS, IDS, Secure DNS, etc.

Presentation skills, Time management, Organization skills

Experience with Cisco LAN switching, Aruba wireless products, and internal wireless products.

Working as a Network Engineer:

Your technical skills are top notch, and you are known for digging into the details to find the best solutions.

You know how to get to the bottom of your organization's needs, and how to manage your stakeholder's expectations.

Talking to people comes naturally to you and you have an ability to communicate complex information in a way that people understand - whether verbal or written.

You will provide expert level network management for multiple data centers (cloud, on-prem) in both an HA and DR configuration. Assess the network performance metrics and perform capacity planning & regularly test the validity of network redundancy and failover circuit testing

You will be actively involved in implementing/testing disaster recovery (DR) process.

You will review specifications, network architecture diagrams, process documentation for completeness and accuracy.

You will monitor network performance and perform the necessary tuning

You will manage cross-functional work teams and may or may not have direct reports. Any supervisory expectations will include delegation, monitoring and managing multiple projects and teams, managing client expectations, coaching staff, and enforcing compliance with department standards
