Job description

Center City Philadelphia based professional services organizations seeks hand-on Network Services Project Manager.

Local candidates ONLY. Applicants who permanently reside within 40 miles of Center City/Philadelphia and meet the minimum required skills need apply to be considered for the role. This position requires daily on-site presence and telecommuting or working remotely is not an option.
Job Type:
  • Full-time||Salary: $100K+ DOE.

Duties:
  • Participate in IT special projects and provide technical leadership and project management as directed.
  • Participate in projects that include support of Windows 2012/2016 based server infrastructures.
  • Participate in the design, implementation and delivery of Microsoft, VMware, and Citrix, for enterprise and SMB clients.
  • Collaborate with internal and external project teams to modify and improve processes where possible.
  • Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and other core operating system components in accordance with established policies and procedure.
 
Requirements:
  • Possess a 4 -year degree in Information Technology or equivalent work experience.
  • 10+ years of verifiable experience providing enterprise and small business server and infrastructure support. Experience with multi-site enterprises is preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communications skills.
  • Ability to create project deliverables including but not limited to design documents, SOWs, and technical documentation.
  • Ability to design and implement and lead POC projects.
  • Possess at least 1 or more of the following active/current certifications: PMP, VCP, MCSE, MCSA, CCA.
  • Advanced knowledge of many of the following technologies with the ability to provide advanced support to Network Engineers and other technical staff.
  • Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy.
  • Windows Server 2012/2016.
  • Windows Server (Clustering).
  • SAN ( EMC, Dell, IBM).
  • Server Virtualization (VMWare and Hyper-V).
