Northrop Grumman Defense Sector is currently seeking a Project / Principal Project Management. This position is in Roy, UT and supports the Sentinel program.

What You'll Get to Do:

Support Engineering Change Management throughout the Design Review lifecycle. Will be engrained with IPT's and oversee integration between IPT's and the manufacturing team.

Facilitate internal meetings across each IPT and functional stakeholders for approvals

Will maintain data, visibility, and metrics supporting Hardware deliveries.

Tools utilized to support will be in the MS Office Suite, cPLM, SharePoint, and Tableau.

Organize action items and ensure their closure plans in a timely fashion by meeting the estimated completion date.

Serve as an overall integration function for the program engaging in many ad hoc activities required to ensure streamlined cadence for program operations and execution

Coordinate performance visibility to Program Office.

Develop and deliver high level briefings to Program Leadership and/or customer

Provide solutions to complex problems that are consistent with the organization's objectives

Identify opportunities for change and champion needed changes in the organization

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.

Basic Qualifications:

Operations Project Manager: Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2 Years with BS; 0 Years with Masters; 4 years additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree

Principal Operations Project Manager: Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 Years with BS; 3 Years with Masters; 1 Years with PhD; 4 years additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree

Required for both levels:

Must be a US Citizen with an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application with an investigation completed within the last 6 years.

Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time as determined by the company to meet its business need.

Demonstrated knowledge of project management principles and execution of large projects.

Proficiency in creating, maintain and utilizing metrics in excel, and SharePoint. Strong data analytic skill set required.

Experience working within an Integrated Product Team (IPT).

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).

Ability to work independently and multitask.

3 year's experience in manufacturing or production environment

Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of Common Product Life Cycle Management (CPLM), Digital Engineering Environment (DEE), or Teamcenter to support Engineering Release lifecycle.
Proficiency in creating, maintaining and utilizing metrics in Tableau
Understanding of Manufacturing Environment and operations
Experience in program stand up
Experience with schedule management, risk management and performance management
Capability to create and conduct high level briefings
Experience leading a team
Prior Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems Manufacturing experience

Primary Level Salary Range: $81,400.00 - $122,000.00Secondary Level Salary Range: $101,400.00 - $152,200.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
