Job description

Are you passionate about media and entertainment. Do you want to be part of a team that delivers world-class content experiences to millions of customers worldwide. MGM+ is seeking a Production Operations Coordinator to join our Network Operations team.
MGM+ is a premium movie and series entertainment service wholly-owned and operated by Amazon, offering content from the iconic MGM archive alongside sophisticated Original Productions

The MGM+ team manages three unique branded products: MGM+ US (top films and world-class Original Series), ScreenPix (a library service with classic MGM films and series), and MGM+ International (a streaming service available in over 30 countries).
In this role, you will combine editorial and technical expertise to coordinate the procurement and delivery of programming content while supporting hardware and software content management solutions. You will participate across multiple stages of the content assembly line-from establishing asset specifications to managing system-based content archival solutions to scoping technical solutions across the MGM+ business. You will also support Amazon's Content Security protocols

This is a high-visibility role that requires collaboration with teams across the globe.
Key job responsibilities
Support Network Operations in all hardware and software development initiatives, including future AI project development, to drive peak workflow efficiency
Serve as the liaison with third-party vendors and Post Production teams to ensure compliance with evolving industry standards for video codecs, audio configurations, localization, audio description, graphics, etc
Review, modify, and maintain MGM+ asset and delivery specifications to meet business and technical requirements
Coordinate the trafficking of program content and promotional materials via secure delivery platforms (Aspera, Box) through the LGA16 restricted-access Secure Media Network
Manage archival assets utilizing the Iconik PAM Production Management System, ensuring content is organized, accessible, and secure
Perform Quality Control (QC) management of assets within the Network Operations infrastructure, identifying and escalating issues proactively
Provide guidance to cross-functional MGM+ teams (Creative Services, Post Production, PR) on hardware and software solutions for content processing that meet Security protocols
Experience in broadcast operations, digital media operations, or content supply chain management, database or asset management systems, film and television formats, deliverables, and ordering processes, video file specifications for broadcast and VOD platforms
Managing and reporting on large volumes of data with high attention to detail, Proficiency with Mac computers and productivity tools (Airtable, Microsoft Word, Excel, or equivalent)
Experience with IBMS, Fabric, or similar media management platforms, Adobe Creative Cloud, Production Asset Management (PAM) systems such as Iconik
Familiarity with content security protocols and secure media workflows

You will assist multiple teams at MGM+ in meeting their business goals by providing hardware and software solutions to meet a very dynamic and ever changing video distribution product and service.
