*An Active Secret clearance is required for consideration* Zachary Piper Solutions is currently seeking a Network System Administrator to support a customer located in Fort Rucker, AL . This position is a full-time role that will be 100% onsite . As a Network System Administrator, you will play a critical role in maintaining, securing, and optimizing network and server infrastructure while supporting mission-critical operations in a secure environment. Key Responsibilities: * Responsible for the daily administration of a network and server environment. * Install, configure, and maintain system software. * Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and deploy effective solutions. * Plan and implement system upgrades, patches, and the installation of new applications and equipment. * Develop and maintain disaster recovery, security, backup, and restore plans. * Assist in evaluating emerging technologies to optimize network efficiency and performance. * Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to ensure reliable network operations. * Support infrastructure availability, security, and compliance requirements. Requirements: * Active Secret Clearance * IAT Level II Certification , including one of the following: * CCNA Security * CySA+ * GICSP * GSEC * Security+ CE * CND * SSCP * Minimum of 4 years of experience in networking, network administration, network management, or a related technical field. * Experience supporting enterprise network and server environments. * Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced operational environment.
