About the Role

We are seeking a detail-orientedCybersecurity Analystto help safeguard our organization's digital assets and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will monitor, detect, and respond to security threats, implement best practices, and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor network traffic and systems for unusual activity, potential threats, and breaches.
  • Analyze and respond to security incidents, performing root cause analysis and remediation.
  • Implement and maintain firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and endpoint protection.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
  • Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure configuration of systems and applications.
  • Prepare reports and documentation related to incidents, audits, and compliance.
  • Stay up to date on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or IT security operations.
  • Knowledge of frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS Controls.
  • Experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar), firewalls, and endpoint protection.
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP, network protocols, and cloud security principles.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP, or CISM) are a plus.
