Job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a NOC Technician for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Guaynabo, PR. This role is ideal for an IT professional with 1 to 2 years of experience who enjoys network monitoring, technical troubleshooting, customer support, and working in a fast-paced Network Operations Center environment.
As a NOC Technician, you will help ensure customer services remain operational, repair requests are handled accurately, and network incidents are escalated and resolved according to established procedures and service level agreements. This is a strong opportunity to build your career in network and server administration while working with knowledgeable technical teams, supportive leadership, and a collaborative environment focused on service reliability, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer incoming customer service repair and troubleshooting calls, document repair requests, and ensure issues are reported and handled according to established standards and procedures.
- Provide remote assistance for customer requests, including CPE configuration changes, SoftSwitch changes, ISDN-PRI circuits, PBX lines, SIP lines, and related telecom services.
- Monitor customer premise equipment, network alarms, and network performance systems to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve service-impacting incidents.
- Investigate network outages, determine root cause, and recommend process, procedure, or configuration improvements to reduce recurrence.
- Maintain customers informed of repair status according to SLA requirements and update internal repair order tracking systems regularly.
- Escalate incidents to appropriate internal teams, including NOC 2nd Level, RFT, NEO, or providers, and notify internal groups of major outages or network incidents according to protocol.
Compensation and Benefits
- Job Type: Temp-to-Hire.

- Pay Rate: $13.47 to $16.47 per hour.
