Position Overview:
Do you have an analytical and flexible mindset, a to seek out and solve complex network and infrastructure problems? If so, Arctiq invites you to join their Network Operations Center team. As a Night Shift Network Operations Centre (NOC) Analyst, you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining network infrastructure and systems. Analyze and respond to alerts, outages, and performance degradations, and proactively develop preventative measures and capabilities. Handle network incidents and other adverse infrastructure events.
Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and triage network events, incidents, and alerts in a 24/7/365 environment.
  • Conduct initial triage and analysis of network events and infrastructure incidents.
  • Escalate complex incidents to Tier 2/3 analysts as needed.
  • Respond to network incidents in accordance with established incident response procedures.
  • Participate in incident response activities and provide status updates to stakeholders.
  • Document and maintain an accurate record of all network incidents, events, and alerts.
  • Maintain a high level of awareness of current and emerging network technologies and infrastructure trends.
  • Collaborate with other teams and departments within the organization to resolve network incidents.
  • Continuously improve processes and procedures for incident response and network event management.
  • Provide excellent quality of Customer Service.
  • Meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Understand the overall processes and procedures of the Arctiq NOC and the relevance of the procedures to the managed client.
  • Work non-traditional hours in a 24 x 7 service environment.

Qualifications:
  • 2+ years in a network operations, IT infrastructure, or IT support role with significant network responsibilities.
  • Experience administering and supporting enterprise backup and recovery platforms, including Commvault, Cohesity, Zerto, and Cloudian, with responsibilities for backup monitoring, data restoration, replication management, policy administration, and troubleshooting.
  • Demonstrated expertise in one or more of the following domains: Network Operations, Infrastructure Monitoring, Incident Response and Analysis, IT Systems and Operations, Network Security, Systems and Applications Support, or Performance Management.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Individuals will be required to submit to a background examination.
  • Demonstrated ability in effective communication and collaborating in a high-performance team environment.
  • Demonstrated commitment to customer service.
  • Experience functioning in diverse workgroups.
  • Experience working with a network monitoring platform (e.g. SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios, or similar).
  • Experience with infrastructure, security, and cloud platforms including Jira, Confluence, Fortinet/FortiGate, SentinelOne, Microsoft Azure, VMware vSphere, Windows Server, and Microsoft 365.
