Job description

Price Industries is looking for a Network Administrator to be part of the network infrastructure that keeps five Georgia manufacturing facilities running and on call 24/7. As our Network Administrator, you'll own the design, security, performance, and reliability of enterprise networks, including firewalls, routing, switching, wireless, VPNs, and SD-WAN. This is a hands-on, network-first role for someone who thrives on solving complex infrastructure challenges and ensuring critical manufacturing operations stay connected, secure, and running without interruption.
Responsibilities

  • Configure, install, and monitor network devices (firewalls, switches, load balancers, wireless access points, routers, etc).

  • Administer and maintain computer networks, servers, and related environments (hardware, software, applications).

  • Monitor system and network performance and proactively identify and resolve issues to minimize downtime.

  • Perform data backups, disaster recovery operations, and system upgrades (patches, hotfixes, security configurations).

  • Ensure compliance with information security procedures and perform security hardening for both cloud and on-premises infrastructure.

  • Support integration of new applications and technologies.

  • Contribute to network design and implementation projects, including segmentation, micro-segmentation, and cabinet security.

  • Provide technical support to service desk and end users (Level 2/3), participating in on-call rotations and off-hours work.

  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers for network upgrades or troubleshooting.

  • Maintain accurate documentation and follow change management procedures for compliance and operational continuity.

  • Participate in network automation and monitoring initiatives, including tools like Ansible, Netbox, and Auvik.

  • Stay current with emerging technologies, threats, and tools.

  • Train and support staff on network tools and best practices.


Qualifications
  • Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • 3+ years of experience in IT network administration or IT infrastructure roles.

  • Experience with Windows Server/Workstation environments.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and enterprise-grade firewalls (e.g., Sophos, Cisco, Fortinet).

  • Proven experience with networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VPN, SD-WAN, etc.) and routing.

  • Familiarity with virtualization platforms (VMWare, Hyper-V, Citrix).

  • Intermediate understanding of backup systems and disaster recovery methodologies.

  • Knowledge of Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, and cloud infrastructure.

  • Scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, or similar languages are an asset

  • Certifications such as CCNP, CISSP, Security+ are considered assets.
