Job description

The Program Manager III, Network Quality and Systems Integration, plays a vital role in executing high-priority quality and patient safety, service excellence, regulatory compliance, and operational improvement initiatives across the DFCI regional campuses.
Under the direction of the Associate Medical Director for Quality, DFCI Network and in collaboration with Network Operations, Network Nursing leadership, the Department of Quality and Patient Safety, and regional site leadership, the Program Manager leads measurement, performance analysis, stakeholder engagement, action planning and oversight, and process improvement activities that advance the quality and reliability of patient care and the achievement of Institutional goals.
In addition to driving a systematic and coordinated approach to quality management across regional sites, the Program Manager will support connectivity between the DFCI network and Longwood and Chestnut Hill campuses, onboarding and integration of new regional programs, and collaboration with regional campus host hospitals.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in healthcare operations, systems, and performance improvement, with the ability to analyze quality and operational data to drive continuous improvement initiatives. Key duties include managing communication and reporting processes, supporting system-wide growth and integration programs, coordinating educational and onboarding activities, and serving as a trusted liaison across departments and leadership teams. This role also contributes to strategic planning, process standardization, and future-focused healthcare delivery initiatives through collaboration on research, pilots, and program development efforts.
Hybrid, 2-3 days on site per week. Will have dedicated space at the DFCI-Foxborough regional campus but will also be expected to spend time at other regional campuses.

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans for program execution, ensuring alignment with institutional priorities and long-term goals.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business administration, management, healthcare, or a related field.
  • Seven (7) years of relevant experience with progressively increasing responsibility of which at least four (4) years must be in program management OR comparable roles.
  • Project or Program Management Professional certification (PgMP, PMP, etc.). preferred
