Job description

Purpose
Support a hybrid cloud/premise consisting of a Windows Domain, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace and Apple Directory services. Manage Windows devices using Microsoft Intune, Apple, and Jamf. Install, maintain and monitor next-generation anti-virus technologies, firewalls, web filtering solutions, spam filters, MFA solutions and network access solutions. All the while understanding networking and application integrations.
Qualifications
Minimum of 4 years of general experience in an IT-related field with a minimum of 2 years' experience with network access policies and software along with the security software used to support access. Experience with large device deployments, maintenance and support is required. Past remote monitoring and management (RMM) administration will also be required. Working knowledge of next-generation antivirus, firewalls, spam filters, web filters and MFA technologies. Ability to understand how those technologies will need to integrate into a working network that requires minimal downtime. Ability to plan or assist in planning special projects and meeting designated deadlines. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general professional information from periodicals and the Internet. Effective communication skills. Team player with strong interpersonal skills to communicate and maintain positive relationships with students, staff and the general public. Ability to take direction, with initiative and dependability in carrying out assignments. Clerical skills, flexibility and confidentiality is required.
