Summary:
The Insurance Sales and Relationship Manager leads Personal Lines sales and service teams within Huntington Insurance, driving production growth, customer retention, referral development, and operational excellence. This role is responsible for developing producers and service professionals, specifically leading the Insurance Green Team that supports internal colleagues who are customers, strengthening partnerships across the organization, and increasing awareness and adoption of Personal Lines insurance solutions among colleagues and clients.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for training, coaching, and developing producers in conjunction with corporate product and sales training programs.
  • Directs and monitors producer sales plans, goals, activities, and pipeline management.
  • Actively partners with bank leadership, and other internal stakeholders to promote insurance solutions as part of a holistic client and colleague experience.
  • Assists with prospect inventory development and referral generation opportunities.
  • Manages producers to properly document sales activities within the agency management system.
  • Supports and monitors cross-sell activities among insurance lines and bank partners to maximize relationship value and customer penetration.
  • Reinforces agency standards, monitors performance metrics, and implements process improvements to enhance customer and colleague experiences.
  • Develops and implements producer succession plans for departing sales team members.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Property & Casualty Insurance license
  • 5+ years Personal Lines insurance experience, including sales, or sales management responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Agency Management Systems, including Sagitta

  • Strong time management skills, attention to detail and ability to prioritize.

  • Strong written and verbal skills with high levels of professionalism.

  • Need to be able to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex issues.

  • Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines.

  • Strong PC and internet skills including intermediate user level for Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

  • Knowledge of benefits and usage of AI within the workplace
