Job Description

This position is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and support of network device objects and network management devices throughout enterprise WAN environments; monitoring network/telecom devices under direct supervision; ensuring an optimized and stable network infrastructure; knowledge of commonly used concepts, best practices, and procedures utilized within a production environment; research and recommend network technologies and solutions; various assigned IT projects. Network Engineer will collaborate with management, software development, test, production support teams, and business end users to ensure effective and accurate implementation of networking and telecommunication standards, during the development lifecycle.

Qualifications

Required:
CCNA Routing and Switching required
CCDA Required
BA/BS in computer science, information systems or equivalent work experience, communications/networking or equivalent required
5+ years' experience working with Cisco hardware and Cisco operating systems
5+ years in designing, implementing and operating of mid-size enterprise internal and external data communication systems, including LANs and WANs
3+ years as a senior engineer in complex enterprise environment

VCP (VMware)
MCSE 2012
