Compensation: $65,000.00

Job Description

The Partner Network Manager is responsible for the program management of Roadrunner Food Bank partner agencies across central and northern New Mexico services areas in conjunction with Roadrunner Food Bank’s Tribal Liaison. This includes onboarding, training, compliance, performance monitoring, and network expansion. This role ensures that all partner sites are operationally sound, compliant, and positioned to effectively distribute food within their communities and within their capabilities. The Partner Network Manager is expected to proactively identify food gaps while developing and nourishing partner agency relationships that support the overall network coverage.  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

Partner Network Management 

• Support the administration of government commodity programs, including compliance, monitoring, and reporting, under the purview of the Director of Program Operations.  
• Manages the full lifecycle of partner agencies from initial inquiry through onboarding, site visits, compliance monitoring, and ongoing evaluation.  
• Conducts structured site assessments prior to onboarding, including but not limited to: 
• Readiness 
• Equipment needs 
• Staff and volunteer capacity 
• Distribution capability and frequency 
• Evaluates and determines new partners’ eligibility based on readiness and alignment with Roadrunner Food Bank food distribution standards 
• Maintains a structured onboarding process, including: 
• Food safety requirements 
• Standard distribution setup 
• Tracking and reporting 
• Ensures all partners have a clearly defined distribution schedule and service delivery expectations 
• Manages and ensures the Roadrunner Food Bank Partner Handbook is regularly reviewed, updated, and communicated to stakeholders of current policies, procedures, and program standards.  
• Performs system training and the overview of Sales Force, SIMC, excel sheets, etc.  
• Maintains standard operating procedures and quick reference guides for partners to follow 

Compliance Monitoring 

• Conducts initial onboarding and routine site visits to ensure safety compliance within: 
• Food safety and safe handling practices 
• Proper storage 
• Distribution protocols and equitable service practices 
• Registration 
• Monitoring of required documentation reporting and agency submission 
• Utilizes a standard tracking tool for agency compliance detailing findings for at one in-person visit and one phone check-in per year, per agency.  
• Ensures partner agencies participating in a special funding program and/or grant are compliant with program guidelines 

Network Expansion and Coverage 

• Maps current service areas and identify service gaps utilizing census tract and other resource tools 
• Coordinates partnerships, food distributions, and relationships throughout service area to address gaps of service collaboratively with Roadrunner Food Bank’s Food Distribution Manager 

Partner Communication 

• Serves as the primary point of contact for all partner agencies in central and northern New Mexico parallel to the work of the Roadrunner Food Bank’s Tribal Liaison 
• Maintains structured communication: 
• Scheduled check-in 
• Site visit follow-ups 
• Policy updates 
• All other important partner agency updates 
• Maintains adherence to reporting compliance that each submission is timely, complete and accurate 

Cross-Function Coordination 

• Communicates partner readiness with the Food Distribution Manager 
• Coordinates with warehouse and logistic team including: 
• Delivery scheduling 
• Allocations 
• Partner Support 
• All other integral teams 
• Supports Tribal Liaison and Partner Network Manager work as assigned 
• Other duties as assigned

Travel Required

• Mileage reimbursement is provided for the use of a personal vehicle for work related activities when a company vehicle is not available 

Required Education, Licenses, Certifications, and Experience 

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience 
• Related experience in (and/or knowledge of) social services and/or nonprofit 
• Must have a valid driver's license 
• Must be willing to travel to rural and urban communities throughout New Mexico 
• Knowledge and experience in working with New Mexico’s diverse culture and environments. 
• Knowledge of food safety and proper food storage and handling techniques. 

Preferred Education, Licenses, Certifications, and Experience 

• Background in hunger relief, food access, community building, or local and regional food systems work a plus. 
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus. 
• Prior non-profit experience a plus. 
• Event planning and fund-raising support experience a plus. 
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and USDA commodity program requirements. 
• Experience supporting volunteers and coordinating community-based programs. 
• Experience with warehouse and logistics management systems and account management 
• Familiarity with food bank operations, food safety guidelines, or USDA compliance.  
• Data management and reporting experience.
