Job description

Our client is supporting a major post-merger network integration! Our client is rolling out new IT infrastructure across multiple locations, and weโ€™re looking for a hands-on Network Integration Engineer to help stage, configure, and deploy critical network equipment. This is a high-impact contract role for someone who thrives in fast-paced, on-site projects and wants direct experience in large-scale network migrations.

This is a 4-6 month contract working on-site 5 days/week in Irving, TX.

SALARY RANGE:ย $38 -$42/hour depending on candidateโ€™s experience, etc.

WHAT YOUโ€™LL DO:

  • Stage, configure, validate, and deploy network hardware (firewalls, switches, routers, and access points) using standardized configurations.
  • Support network setup, connectivity testing, troubleshooting, and post-migration validation for branch locations.
  • Assist with physical installation, equipment swaps, cabling, and coordination with on-site technicians during migrations.
  • Document configurations, maintain hardware inventory, track deployments, and coordinate equipment shipment to assigned sites.
  • Provide additional deployment support as needed, including imaging laptops/desktops and assisting with printer and phone system setup.

WHAT YOUโ€™LL BRING:

  • 3+ years of experience setting up and configuring Network switches, Firewalls, Wireless access points, and Phones & phone systems.
  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, routing).
  • Experience with Fortinet, Cisco, and Ruckus preferred.
  • Proven reliability and ability to work on-site full-time.
  • Hands-on experience deploying or staging network equipment in production environments.ย 
  • Previous involvement in large-scale network rollouts, mergers, or infrastructure refreshes preferred.
