Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to join our dynamic team in a remote/hybrid work environment. The Technical Project Manager will be responsible for managing successful delivery of network infrastructure, cybersecurity, collaboration, and data center projects with a specific focus on Cisco solutions. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in managing complex technical projects, possess in-depth knowledge of Cisco technologies, and have a solid understanding of VMWare, Microsoft, and Cloud technologies. This role requires exceptional project management skills, technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a remote or hybrid setting.

Project Planning and Execution:

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of network infrastructure, cybersecurity, and data center projects, ensuring adherence to project scope, timeline, and budget.
  • Define project objectives, milestones, and deliverables, by developing comprehensive project plans that accommodate remote collaboration and flexible work arrangements.
  • Foster effective communication and collaboration among remote team members, cross-functional teams, clients, and vendors.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, resolve project-related issues, and drive proactive problem-solving to ensure successful project completion.
  • Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide regular project status updates to stakeholders, utilizing virtual and/or in-person meetings, and project management tools.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Establish strong relationships and effectively communicate with stakeholders, including clients, project sponsors, team members, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Proactively identify and understand stakeholder requirements, expectations, and concerns, and address them promptly and effectively.
  • Conduct regular virtual meetings and occasional in-person presentations to update stakeholders on project progress, milestones, and risks, fostering engagement and collaboration across distributed teams.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and success criteria, ensuring alignment and clarity.

Resource and Budget Management:

  • Manage project resources effectively, including remote personnel, equipment, and materials, to ensure optimal utilization and adherence to project timelines, budget, and profitability.
  • Develop project budgets, monitor project expenditures, and implement cost control measures to ensure project profitability.
  • Collaborate with finance and procurement teams to procure necessary equipment, licenses, and services in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Analyze project financial data, including costs, revenue, and profitability, and provide recommendations to enhance project performance and financial outcome.

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 Years of proven experience as a Technical Project Manager, delivering network infrastructure, cybersecurity, collaboration, and data center projects, including experience in managing projects remotely or in a hybrid work environment.
  • Project management certification (PMP, CAPM, CSM, PMI-ACP, IAPM, or equivalent)
  • Possess a deep understanding of Cisco solutions, including Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and other network infrastructure components, and leverage this expertise to guide project teams and address technical challenges.
  • Experience with VMWare, Microsoft technologies, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is highly preferred.
