Job description

JOB LOCATION - Wilkes-Barre General Hospital - 7 am-3:30 pm
Position Purpose
The Network Analyst III is responsible for the design, construction and maintenance of the network infrastructure that supports data, voice and image communication among the related entities of Wyoming Valley Health Care System. The Analyst manages the installation and implementation of the network infrastructure. The Analyst will monitor and maintain the network. This person will recommend changes to ensure maximum system availability and optimization to the System customers. The Analyst will preserve the security of the network.
Position Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science or experience can be substituted for education as defined below.
Experience/Specialized Skills/Aptitudes
A minimum of four (4) years equivalent experience in networking, including experience with server administration (Windows, Active Directory, Group Policy), virtualization (VMware vSPhere, Nutanix, Citrix), storage (VNX, Isilon, atmos) and backup. Demonstrate ability to work with and through people at all organizational levels. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work in an analytical and objective manner with attention to detail. Ability to work independently and complete tasks and project assignments in a timely manner.

Current Pennsylvania driver's license is required.
