Job description

Position Title: Managed Services Infrastructure Technician

Role Overview:
As a Managed Services Infrastructure Technician, you'll be instrumental in implementing, optimizing, and troubleshooting cutting-edge network and IT infrastructure solutions for our clients. Operating in a dynamic environment, you'll ensure seamless service delivery through agile methodologies and meticulous attention to detail. From in-house configuration to on-site support, your expertise will drive client satisfaction and operational excellence. The Technician will provide these services in a per-hour billing or flat rate monthly setting and will track all time, in either case, for proper billing and cost accounting. Your responsibilities will encompass managing and supporting a variety of common devices and items, including:

  • Route/Switch
  • Firewall/VPN
  • Wireless
  • Wire/Cable Management
  • Cybersecurity Best Practices and Implementations

Additionally, you'll collaborate with leading vendors such as Cisco, Meraki, Palo Alto, and Fortinet to leverage their technologies and deliver state-of-the-art solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate client systems for optimization and upgrades.
  • Deliver agile network services, encompassing in-house, remote, and on-site support.
  • Provide comprehensive support for routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless devices.
  • Collaborate with engineers to stage and deploy equipment, ensuring seamless integration.
  • Conduct precise infrastructure installations, including robust wire management solutions.
  • Execute and validate backup procedures to maintain data integrity.
  • Document network configurations and setups with clarity and precision.

Qualifications:

  • Associates or higher degree preferred.
  • Possession of Cisco certifications such as CCNA and CCNP is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an IT/Managed Services technician or equivalent work experience.
