Job Summary: Gulfport Energy is seeking a dedicated Field Networking Professional to support our operations in the St. Clairsville, Ohio area. This role is crucial for enhancing our field infrastructure by installing, maintaining, and upgrading networking equipment at various pad sites. The ideal candidate will possess a strong networking background and be comfortable with significant onsite work, providing essential IT support where it's needed most. Responsibilities: Perform onsite installation and maintenance of networking equipment at remote field sites. Execute equipment replacement projects, upgrading existing technology with newer solutions across numerous field locations. Provide specialized IT-focused support directly in the field, addressing networking challenges and ensuring operational continuity. Coordinate effectively with operations teams to schedule outages and manage logistical aspects of field deployments and maintenance. Help field employees with oil and gas software used to connect to OT devices. Qualifications: Proven strong networking background. Experience in field networking, including hands-on work at various sites. Ability to travel regularly to sites within a 1.5 to 2-hour radius of St. Clairsville, Ohio. (Preferred) Experience with oil and gas applications. Employment Details: This position will initially be a contract role, with the potential for conversion to a full-time employee based on project success and business needs. The initial project is estimated to be around six months, but duration may vary.
