As a Critical Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring 100% uptime and reliability across our data center operations. Leveraging your deep experience in facility management and data center operations, you will lead process improvement initiatives, oversee technical implementation, and ensure that our critical systems consistently perform at the highest standards for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Process Improvement: Develop, implement, and drive best practices, policies, and procedures to optimize facility operations and service delivery.
  • Technical Documentation: Draft and review Methods of Procedure (MOPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure clarity, compliance, and effectiveness.
  • Project Implementation: Oversee and ensure timely, successful deployment of customer solutions, including preparation and allocation of space, power, and network resources.
  • Technical Presentations: Prepare and deliver technical presentations and status updates on facility systems to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Facilities Management: Oversee the technical and operational aspects of critical facility infrastructure, including power, HVAC, UPS, generators, and mechanical systems, ensuring optimal performance and swift response to incidents.
  • Reporting and Metrics: Produce and maintain monthly reports, operational metrics, and compliance documentation.
  • Customer Integration: Provide advanced technical support during customer integration to ensure seamless implementation of data center solutions.
  • Problem Resolution: Respond rapidly to and resolve facility issues to maintain 100% uptime and reliability.
  • Leadership: Supervise and mentor facility operations staff; foster a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Compliance: Maintain up-to-date knowledge and compliance with regulatory standards, including environmental, safety, ISO 9000 (quality), ISO 14000 (environmental), and OHSAS 18000 (health & safety) standards.
  • Other Duties: Perform additional responsibilities as required to support the success of the facility.

Qualifications
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in data center facility operations and management.
  • Proven supervisory and team leadership skills; experience managing technical teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field preferred; equivalent training and experience considered.
  • Strong knowledge of mission-critical infrastructure and networking technologies, including UPS, generators, power distribution, mechanical systems, and HVAC.
  • Advanced understanding of industry standards, codes, and procedures, including ISO and OHSAS standards, and environmental/safety regulations.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to draft professional technical documents and deliver effective presentations.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage multiple projects and deadlines in a high-availability environment.
  • Proficient in presentation and proposal development.
  • Data center industry experience required.
