Senior IT Infrastructure and Network Engineer

Location: Surgoinsville, TN

DescriptionPrimary Job Function:

We are seeking a skilled Senior IT Infrastructure & Network Engineer with strong expertise in enterprise IT environments, network infrastructure, cloud services, and security frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:Server & Infrastructure Management
  • Manage and maintain Windows Server and Linux environments
  • Perform server monitoring, hardening, patching, and performance tuning
Virtualization Management
  • Administer VMware and Nutanix environments
  • Handle VM provisioning, optimization, and disaster recovery (DR)
Network Infrastructure Management
  • Manage LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and SD-WAN networks
  • Configure and maintain routers, switches, and firewalls (Fortinet)
Network Security & Compliance
  • Implement and manage firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS systems
  • Conduct security audits, vulnerability assessments, and ensure policy compliance
Cloud Infrastructure Management
  • Manage Microsoft Azure environments (AWS knowledge is a plus)
  • Focus on cost optimization, governance, and cloud security
Storage & Backup Management
